Component Kit & Chassis Disclaimer, Assumption of Risk, and Release of Liability

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

This document affects your legal rights.

1. Nature of Product

KHAOS Automotive (“Manufacturer”) produces and sells component chassis kits and related automotive parts.
The products sold are not complete motor vehicles, are not turnkey, and are not certified for street use at the time of sale.

All products are sold as component parts intended for off-road use only until fully assembled, completed, inspected, titled, and registered by the purchaser in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.

The Purchaser acknowledges that Manufacturer does not sell, manufacture, or represent any product as a completed street-legal vehicle.

2. No Certification or Compliance Representation

Manufacturer makes no representations or warranties that any chassis, kit, or component:

• Meets FMVSS, DOT, EPA, CARB, or any other regulatory standards

• Will qualify for registration or titling in any jurisdiction

• Will pass any safety, emissions, or roadworthiness inspection

All compliance responsibility rests solely with the Purchaser.

3. Purchaser Responsibility

The Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that:

• Final vehicle assembly is performed entirely by the Purchaser or third parties not affiliated with Manufacturer

• The safety, legality, and roadworthiness of the completed vehicle depend on:

  • Assembly quality

  • Component selection

  • Installation methods

  • Maintenance

  • Use conditions

• Manufacturer has no control over how the vehicle is assembled, modified, or operated

4. No Performance or Safety Guarantees

Manufacturer provides no guarantees regarding:

• Vehicle performance

• Handling

• Structural integrity after modification

• Crashworthiness

• Track safety

• Suitability for racing or competition

Any performance figures, weights, or comparisons discussed verbally, in writing, or in marketing materials are estimates only and not guarantees.

5. Assumption of Risk

The Purchaser understands and acknowledges that:

• High-performance vehicles and motorsports activities involve inherent risks

• These risks include, but are not limited to:

  • Serious injury

  • Death

  • Property damage

• Operation of a completed vehicle may occur on public roads, private property, racetracks, or other environments with unpredictable hazards

The Purchaser voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the assembly, operation, and use of the product.

6. Release and Waiver of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Purchaser hereby releases, waives, and discharges KHAOS Automotive, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, or liability arising from:

• Use or misuse of the product

• Assembly or modification of the product

• Operation of any vehicle incorporating the product

• Personal injury, death, or property damage

This release applies whether claims arise from negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, except where prohibited by law.

7. No Professional Advice

Any guidance provided by Manufacturer, whether written, verbal, or electronic, is offered for general informational purposes only and does not constitute:

• Engineering certification

• Legal advice

• Safety certification

• Mechanical approval

The Purchaser is encouraged to consult qualified professionals, including engineers, inspectors, and legal counsel.

8. Indemnification

The Purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Manufacturer from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• The Purchaser’s assembly or use of the product

• Third-party claims related to the completed vehicle

• Violations of laws or regulations

9. No Transfer of Liability

This disclaimer applies to:

• The original Purchaser

• Any subsequent owner or user of the product or completed vehicle

The Purchaser agrees to inform any future owner of the nature of the product and the contents of this disclaimer.

10. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the state in which Manufacturer is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Acknowledgment

By purchasing, accepting delivery of, or using any product from KHAOS Automotive, the Purchaser confirms that they:

• Have read and understood this disclaimer

• Voluntarily accept its terms

• Understand they are giving up certain legal rights
